C'est pour tester un nouveau serveur matchmaker chez ISI, à* mon avis faut pas la mettre, surtout qu'il disent à* utiliser à* vos risques et périls en résumé.

C'est juste pour tester un nouveau Lobby en quelque sortes.

Ok, alors on oublie pour le moment, laissons les accros au béta test s'amuser, nous on reste dans le non Béta, ca vaudra mieux pour tous.

Of course improvements have been made, but the main thing is that it uses a new matchmaker. Its difficult to test this from just our location.



v1048 is not compatible with v1040 - you can't join games with different versions, even if they used the same matchmaker. It was stated to back up your v1040 executables and the OSC and net DLL, and you absolutely should, especially for playing multiplayer.

The matchmaker is the application that helps you find other games when you go to join a multiplayer game - the list is generated by the matchmaker and sent to you. This is what we primarily want to test - this "update beta v1048" isn't meant as a patch, even if it does include some fixes, updates, and optimizations.

Don't quote me, but it probably addresses several graphical issues that were introduced with the v1040 update. You'll also find some support for sending setups and fixed setup options, although these haven't been tested extensively yet.

Again, we are more concerned about testing the matchmaker than anything else. Thanks in advance to anyone willing and able to help out!



Yes, this beta release has many improvements and fixes based on feedback from the 1.040 update, including fixes for the graphics problems. So it's good for offline testing as well.
