Hardware/Software configuration recommendations

rFactor light parameters for night race recommendations :

In your PLR (find it in UserData\MyProfile\MyProfile.plr) change the following lines to get the best, render on/in car with a maximum of FPS and realism.

Max Headlights="2" // Max headlights visible relative to your car.
Headlights On Cars="1" // Headlights illuminate other cars.

rFactor sounds parameters :

1) rFactor FFB options for Logitech wheels (inverse efforts for other manufacturers) (you could adjust between -72% and -100% for more force or use upgrade in the mod, depends on pilots and wheels):

2) rFactor rates :

3) FFB Parameters

controler.ini ForceFeedback section values recomended for Logitech Driving Force Pro Wheels :
ForceFeedback section for DFP

Logitech panel configuration for DFP :

controler.ini ForceFeedback section values recomended for Logitech G25 Wheels :
ForceFeedback section for G25

Logitech panel configuration for G25 :

4) FFB Parameters for pure RealFeel

RealFeelPlugin.ini (v0.92) recomended specific values for Logitech Wheels (don't forget to put standard recommanded values in you controler.ini before and force in rFactor at between -100% and -72%):

[General]
RealFeelIsOn=True
SteerForceInputMax=11500.000000
MinSpeed=10.000000

[PCCFRA2006 Cat A]
MaxForceAtSteeringRack=-3100.000000
SteeringDamper=11500.000000
FFBMixerRealFeelPercent=100.000000
SmoothingLevel=0

[PCCFRA2006 Cat B]
MaxForceAtSteeringRack=-3100.000000
SteeringDamper=11500.000000
FFBMixerRealFeelPercent=100.000000
SmoothingLevel=0

[PCCFRA2007 Cat A]
MaxForceAtSteeringRack=-3100.000000
SteeringDamper=11500.000000
FFBMixerRealFeelPercent=100.000000
SmoothingLevel=0

[PCCFRA2007 Cat B]
MaxForceAtSteeringRack=-3100.000000
SteeringDamper=11500.000000
FFBMixerRealFeelPercent=100.000000
SmoothingLevel=0

Logitech panel configuration values for pure or mixed RealFeel :
If you want less blur at center adjust the circled value shown in the picture (test +5 step by step)

5) FFB Parameters for mixed RealFeel with standard FFB and LeoFFB

First, put all the values as indicated in the pure RealFeel paragraph (see just upper)
After this adjust these values :

In the RealFeelPlugin.ini change this line :
FFBMixerRealFeelPercent=50.000000
If you don't feel the under steer on front wheels, decrease the value to feel it (between 50 and 25 normaly)

Now test and you will feel the front wheels understeer on over turn (very noticable in cold tyres)

Only for the LeoFFB:
First in the RealFeelPlugin.ini change this line :
FFBMixerRealFeelPercent=58.000000
After put the following values in the Plugins/LeoFFB.ini (save your previous .ini before and replace the content by) :

18.0 Front Wheel lock angle, degrees (max deflection to one side from straight on)
0.758 Front wheel distance to centerline (half the front wheel track) in metres, from .pm file
1.166 Front axle distance to body reference point (about half the wheel base) in metres, from .pm file
4.0 Relative strength of FFB effects
6.5 Aligning moment curve shape / feeling of tyre losing grip. Lower numbers are duller, range 1.0 .. 10
0.99 Negative aligning moment parameter for high slip angles, range 0.0 ... 1.0
10.5 Slip angle where aligning moment reverses direction - typically between 8 and 15 degrees
0.0 Caster (dimetionless)
0.0 Camber ratio (not degrees!)
0.0 Road bumps feeling on the wheel
11500.0 maximum FFB force for stationary and low speed effects
3.5 stiffness of stationary wheels
1.5 wheel rubber hardness (1..5)
8.0 how quickly static forces drop off when rolling

- If force on wheel is too high/low, lower the value (by step of -0.5) to decrease FFB for the line : 4.5 Relative strength of FFB effects
- If you want to feel more the understeer at front, decrease the value for line : 10.5 Slip angle where aligning moment reverses direction - typically between 8 and 15 degrees
- Don't forget to put 18 degrees in your car setup to match with the LeoFFB parameters ;)
